Why I built Indevest

While evaluating businesses I might purchase, I found plenty of information written from the seller's perspective, but very little that helped me understand whether a purchase would work for me.

The asking price and headline earnings were only part of the picture. I needed to understand how financing affected cash flow, whether the business could support its debt, how much cash the purchase required, whether the results met my requirements, and what information was still missing.

The available information was fragmented, and spreadsheets answered individual questions without bringing the full buyer picture together.

I developed Indevest to make that first financial review easier to understand.

The experience behind Indevest

David holds a B.A. in Economics and Management and has experience in financial services, financial and operational analysis, strategy, and building technology ventures.

Before Indevest, he founded and developed financial-technology products focused on portfolio risk analysis and individual financial planning. That combination of financial understanding, business analysis, and hands-on product development shaped Indevest.
